Overview #

A Reflected Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Microweber CMS version 1.0.8. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML.

Vulnerability Details #

Affected Versions: 1.0.8 and earlier

Root Cause: Insufficient input validation and output encoding allows attackers to inject malicious scripts.

Exploitation Requirements #

• Victim must visit a crafted URL

Remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to:

• Steal admin session cookies
• Compromise the CMS installation
• Perform actions on behalf of users
